Specie Description: Quarter Sawn maple is a splendid choice of exotic wood for the artisan and ultimate consumer of luxury wood products. Some example of its use include fine furniture, musical instruments, and luxury writing instruments.
Hard Maple has been traditionally used for implement and machinery parts, turnery, wooden dishes, and a variety of planing mill products. It is the standard wood for cutting boards, as it imparts no taste to food and holds up well.
